After the wedding entrance dance scored more than 50 million views on YouTube and inspired a wave of ill-advised imitations (think Dwight on 'The Office') it was only a matter of time before someone applied the idea to a marriage proposal.
There seem to be few things people enjoy more in their viral videos than a combination of bad pop music, bad dancing and true love, so it's no surprise that this perfectly choreographed number is capturing the online zeitgeist.
The aspiring groom, who attended some sort of circus school, woos his girlfriends to the saccharin strains of 'Shake It' with the help of a crack team of dancers. And while the music may not be to everyone's taste, it's undeniable that the video captures the same goofy spirit that made the entrance dance such a phenomenon.
The only thing that could have made the video a better candidate to become a Web sensation would have been if 'Claudine' had refused. But with a proposal like this, who could say no?
